Inventus Art LLC is a Catholic-owned, one-woman business built to share the creative work of artist, Colleen Schwebach.

Its mission is to inspire customers to grow in: 1. faith and virtue, 2. gratefulness for life, 3. stewardship and appreciation of nature, 4. excitement for all of life's adventures (especially the adventures of family life).

Inventus Art sells wholesome products that help families spend time together at home and outdoors, deepen their relationships with God, and beautify their homes. Through products, collaborations, and licensing, it seeks to become a recognizable force for the good and encouragement for families and nature-lovers both locally and online.

In Latin, Inventus means “having been found or discovered”. The name “Inventus” pays homage to the inventors and creatives among Colleen’s relatives. It is also a reminder of the omnipotence of God, in Whom we all are found, and the spiritual treasures available to those who draw close to Him. Colleen entrusts her work entirely to God and acknowledges Him as the source of all creative inspiration. The patrons of her business are the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

Colleen Schwebach is an artist, stay-at-home mom, and naturalist who tells the story of her passion for nature and the Catholic faith through ink, watercolor, pastel, and digital mediums. Faith, nature, and family are some of the the biggest influences in her artwork. She lives with her husband and three children (8 and under) in Southwest Wisconsin.

Colleen has fond memories of making art throughout her life. Her educational experiences, past employment, hobbies, travels, faith, and motherhood all inform her artistic celebration of life.
